Comprehensive Dependent Audit will include both an Amnesty Phase and a Verification Phase. This approach will yield the greatest cost-savings results and will require a greater investment of time. In some instances, conducting an “Affidavit Only” or “Verification Only” program may be appropriate.
Affidavit Only Audit will allow healthcare plan participants (employees) to voluntarily remove ineligible dependents from coverage.
Ongoing Dependent Eligibility Audit will inspect only those ‘new additions’ to the healthcare plan(s) which will ensure accuracy of all dependents.
