The annual list — compiled by InformationWeek — recognizes companies that demonstrate innovative uses of business technology.

A number of factors contributed to HMS Holdings Corp.’s inclusion on the list including its increased IT budget, commitment to leveraging technology to meet client needs, and strategy for achieving executive buy-in.
